Functional Outerwear Care Guide

To maintain the water resistance, breathability and overall performance of your functional outerwear, please follow the care instructions below. Always refer to the care label inside your garment before washing.

Hand Washing Instructions

• Close all zips, Velcro and fastenings.

• Remove detachable trims or accessories and wash separately.

• Turn the garment inside out.

• Use lukewarm water (below 30°C).

• Wash with a mild, non-biological liquid detergent.

• Gently clean any heavily soiled areas without scrubbing.

• Do not soak the garment for extended periods.

• Gently press out excess water. Do not wring or twist.
  

Machine Washing Instructions

• Machine wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle.

• Wash separately from dark or heavily dyed garments.

• Close all zips and fastenings before washing.

• Use a technical or gentle wash programme where available.

• A laundry bag may be used to help protect the outer fabric.

Drying

Air Drying

• Hang the garment to dry naturally in a well-ventilated area.

• Keep away from direct heat sources such as radiators or heaters.

• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

Low Heat Tumble Dry

• Tumble dry on a low heat setting only.

• Close all zips and fastenings before tumble drying.

• Do not tumble dry on high heat.

Low heat tumble drying can help reactivate the Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish, improving the garment’s ability to shed water.

Important Care Notes

• Do not bleach.

• Do not use fabric softener (this may reduce water-repellent performance).

• Do not use disinfectants or harsh chemical cleaners.

• Avoid high-temperature washing or drying.

• Do not dry clean unless specified on the care label.
